Dear Mom & Dad, Can you believe they’ll be a senior soon!? Remember the moment you brought her home? Or when he started smiling at you— oh, that sweet gummy smile! Her first steps. When you sent him off to kindergarten that very first day. Her first recital. Her first crush…heartbreak. Now they’re all grown up and about to head off into the world. I’m sure you’re so proud! But, where did the time go? How is it in just a few short months they’ll be walking across that stage…how did it go by so fast?

I am so honored that you are considering me to help document such an important milestone in your life!

I am sure that this season in life may be bittersweet. This is the last year that they may be home before heading off to college, or whatever path they plan to choose that leads them into the real world. I hope the artwork I create for you will be displayed on your walls so that when they are off on new adventures, you’ll be able to see that beautiful smile when you look at your keepsakes. I am so thankful for this opportunity to document your senior. I can’t wait to work with your family.

I love being a part of the entire portrait process from styling and wardrobe suggestions, to handing you your final artwork. This is why all of my sessions include a detailed Planning Appointment, and an In-Person Reveal and Ordering Appointment.

In order to provide all my seniors and families with an amazing experience, I offer a limited number of sessions each month. If you’re interested in booking a senior session with me, contact me so we can start the process.

Once your session date is booked, we also book your Planning Appointment where we will plan the details of your session including styling and location. Our session day is always fun. It’s meant to be casual and relaxed so that I can focus on capturing the real you. After our session is done, I review all of the images and choose the best of the session to hand edit for your final gallery. We typically meet again within 2-4 weeks of your senior session for your In-Person Reveal and Ordering Appointment where at that time your images will be showcased (my favorite part!) and you will choose and place your order for your artwork.

There is a Reservation Fee due at the time of booking, along with your signed contract to reserve your date.

$150 Reservation Fee – Up to 40 minutes of shooting, 1 location, 1 outfit
$300 Reservation Fee – Up to 2 hours of shooting, up to 2 locations, up to 3 outfits

This fee is non-refundable. Products and digital art files are purchased separately, with A la Carte pricing starting at $55 and All Inclusive collections starting at $750. The average client spends between $1000 to $2000 on their custom portrait experience and heirloom products. Payment plans can be arranged to accommodate many budgets. For a full look at the All Inclusive Collections & A la Carte Menu, please contact me. A travel fee of $1 per mile will occur if the location choice is more than 25 miles away from 32712. All products are subject to Orange County sales tax of 6.5%.

One of my favorite things is pulling out old photo albums and looking back at old photos of when I was growing up, and of my parents and grandparents. It’s so fun to bring back all of those memories, and now I get to share that with my own children. But in a digital world, the tangible print seems to be more rare. People are taking more photos than ever before. And yet, they no longer print or display those photos in their homes. These images stay in digital form on computers and smartphones. As I was photographing families and sending off their digitals, I often wondered how many ever left the computer or desk drawer, and how many of those images made it up on the walls or in albums.

As I strive to be better with my own children and family memories and milestones, I want that for my clients as well. This is why I believe strongly in the value of offering a finished product for my clients. Presenting your photographs as works of art, to be hung on your walls and sit on your coffee tables. To be enjoyed and cherished for years to come. Then your children will have these beautiful memories to look at with their children one day. A printed photograph is one of those things that becomes more valuable over time. You may not see it now, but in 10-20-30 years, you’ll realize what an amazing thing invested in.

I offer a wide variety of archival, heirloom products. If you would like to create your own collection of products and prints, there is a $700 minimum purchase from the a la carte menu, along with the $150/$250 Senior Reservation Fee.

42% of people between the ages of 30 and 44 will likely look back and wonder where photos of their childhood, holiday get-togethers, relatives and friends have gone decades from now? Why? They no longer print photographs or create photo albums. In fact, 67% store their photos solely on a computer or phone.

Statistics also show that a staggering 53% of consumers haven’t printed a photo in more than 12 months, 70% don’t have photo albums, and 42% no longer print photos at all. We are essentially raising a generation conditioned to not print photographs.

Can you believe those stats? It makes me so sad, let’s change that shall we?
