Carlie kicked off my 2022 senior season with so much style and personality—and I couldn't have asked for a better way to start the year! We began her session in one of the coziest little gems in Mount Dora: Barrel of Books & Games. As a proud book lover, Carlie was completely in her element surrounded by shelves of stories, and that made it all the more special. I love when seniors bring a piece of their personality into the session, and this location was so her.
After a couple of rain reschedules (thank you, Florida weather!), the skies finally cleared and gave us a beautiful, sunny afternoon to explore Wekiwa Springs State Park in Apopka. Golden light, gorgeous nature, and Carlie’s easygoing spirit made the second half of the shoot just as dreamy. She was such a joy to photograph—kind, fun, and just radiating light in every frame.
