I have been toying with the idea for some time now to revisit At-Home Sessions. When I first started my business, I was offering newborn sessions in homes but I didn't feel newborns were a good for me, so when I moved away from them, sessions at home also went away. As I continue to grow in my craft, I think every artist craves growth and change now and again, and I was definitely at that stage. I really wanted to try and bring At-Home Sessions back in a way that still fit my brand and style of shooting. Light is very important as I am a natural light photographer, so that I feel was my biggest challenge and what was holding me back the most. But, this year I vowed to finally try it again, and I am so glad that I did. I put a model call out in April and had an overwhelming response. I wish I could have captured them all, but I had to be strict with myself and keep to just a couple families to make sure I could make it work. Well, I am so glad I went for it, because I had an absolute blast, and I love everything I captured more than I even thought I would.
I am just beyond obsessed with this At-Home Session and this adorable family!!! So grateful they allowed me into their home and trusted my vision. I can't wait to offer more of these in the near future!
