I'm so excited to share this session. These hold an extra special place in my heart as they are of one of my oldest friends (since middle school) and her family. We were so close growing up...through middle, high school and college and on into our 20s and 30s— we partied together, graduated together, lived together, traveled together, were in each other's weddings, and while our friendship has weathered some storms along the way, we put the past behind us and a couple years ago reconnected like we hadn't skipped a beat!
We've been through so much together in our lives, and now she faces her biggest challenge yet as she battles breast cancer. She's a fighter, and they have a plan and I know without a shadow of a doubt she will fight and win this battle. I also knew without a shadow of a doubt photos were a must, and I'm just so thankful that we were able to make this happen before treatment and surgeries begin.
Please take a moment and pray for her as she begins this journey. Pray for her strength and that her body can fight as hard as it ever has to get rid of the cancer. Pray for her family to be strong and carry the extra load while she is fighting and healing. And pray for the doctors to take the best approach to remove the disease from her body.

We snuck in a few branding shots at The Basin while I was there which was super fun! The Basin is Henry's Depot bar and is such a fun space, with live music and events often and some amazing signature drinks. If you haven't checked them out you definitely should! The food hall at Henry's Depot has so many different, yummy food options that the whole family would enjoy, including a delicious pizza spot, Oak Flame Pizza; a sandwich shop and a seafood option; a coffee shop, Mahogany Coffee, is there too; along with a really yummy - my kids approved - ice cream shop called The Greenery Creamery!
